Featuring 3.5 miles of new pathways on the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail, the 1780 community, created by Crescent Communities on Lake James, offers more than 1,200 acres with a wide array of homesites, ranging in size from one to six acres. The community includes two special parcels, Firestone at 1780 (located on the site of the original Camp Firestone) and Hully Gully, 11 homesites offering owners the choice of two pre-designed cabin structures. Also located within 1780 is Camp Lake James, Crescent's new lake adventure center. Waterfront homesites and lake-access homesites including a dedicated boat slip in a community dock are both available. All owners in 1780 will automatically be members of Camp Lake James.
This community is located on the north central side of the lake approximately 12 miles from Morganton.
