We Are Expanding!
So I am sure a lot of you have seen us working on the beautiful addition to our Lake James Real Estate office, but now as we are getting much closer to completion we would like to invite you all to come by and take a look at the new future office. The old and new office will all become Lake James Real Estate and is connected by a corridor allowing us a lot more room and a few more doors! We are very proud of the amazing design and cool products that have been used in this project being completed by none other than Cottonwood, our construction company. So as Christmas draws near, drop by and have a cup of cocoa and sit with us by the fire.
What a Wonderful Time of the Year
This year because of the low lake levels we could not have the annual Lake James Boat Parade. This is a special event for us and we enjoying raising the money to help South Mountain Children’s Home. So this year we are selling dinner tickets to Lake James Pub & Grill and the proceeds will go to South Mountain Children’s Home for Christmas gifts. We will have tickets for sell at our office, so please stop by and pick yours up and let us all remember the true giving spirit of Christmas. Happy Holidays to you all!
Home Insurance, What it Does & Does Not Cover
So as we are going into the New Year, now may be a good time to investigate what your home insurance does and does not cover and re-evaluate in necessary. A standard home insurance policy may not cover what you think it does. It does not cover earthquake, flood damage, stolen or damaged vehicles from your property, water line breaks or sewage problems, termites nor stolen pets. A lot of homeowners are under the impression that a standard policy covers a lot more than it really does and that could mean large unexpected expenses, probably when you can least afford them! So as we head into the new year, review your policy and just be aware of what is covered and not covered so that you are always prepared.
