As the name suggests, this community backs up to the Pisgah National Forest on the northeast side of Lake James. A short gravel road leads up to this gated neighborhood of approximately 30, 10+ acre lots sitting just below the Linville Gorge. Residents can take advantage of the Linville Public boat ramp just a few miles down the road for lake access or the miles of hiking trails leading virtually out their back door and through the forest. This is an area for those who want to be close enough to the lake to enjoy it, but just far enough out in the mountains to have privacy.
