Marion Lake Club
Four separate neighborhoods in one location, the Marion Lake Club opened in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. These interior residences border a semi-private golf club, affording the ability purchase club memberships with golf, tennis and boat slip privileges.
These four neighborhoods are located on the southwest end of Lake James, approximately six miles from Marion. In addition to the Marion Lake Club, the neighborhoods include:
Lakeview Point – single-family homes situated on an extension of the peninsula that begins the golf course. Some of the prettiest lake and mountain views in McDowell County can be found here.
Bayshore – a neighborhood with single-family waterfront homes as well as condominiums. The condominiums at Bayshore, one of only two sets built at Lake James, command amazing views of Shortoff Mountain and the Linville Gorge.
The iconic Marion Lake Club sits on the southern shores of Lake James and continues inland around a scenic 18-hole golf course. Located at US 70 and Highway 126, the excellent central location provides easy access to favorite leisure pastimes.
